Ok, I tried out the various ideas and suggestions and have narrowed it down these:



Now for some explaining. Generally I prefer symmetry in the design and have lent more towards this one (which was also the last one I drew). However the one sided blade allows it to be held forward of the handle allowing for a good bracing against hits, something my rhg really needs. The top one would have him grabbing the blade or having to brace with both hands on the handle which is near impossible. So it's more practical but I can't help but feel it looks tacky with the top seemingly cut off. 

So what do you guy's make of these two? Does the lower one look worst? Sorry to be bothering with the questioning, I just want to get this sorted because when left up to me it takes months to decide on stuff like this

Hi everyone
Just wanted to get some opinions on something I've been having trouble with for a while.
Lots of you will recognize this weapon:

...which has been my rhg's weapon since he started battling.
It's good but there's problems with the design that I've wanted to fix for ages. But none of my designs feel quite right and I can't decide what I want to go for. Many drawings later and I still don't know.
So can you guy's please let me know what you think of these various different designs. I just want too see what others think, what you like or dislike about the different designs.






Keep in mind there's aren't final and subject to adjustment, and that Kursura is meant to be a rather lightweight character. Also I may faze out the gun from the specs, still undecided on that.

Been drawing on and off for years. Started animating sticks proper around summer 2011 (was taught flash at collage several years prior).
